The Public Health & Nutrition Professional Development Program is designed to strengthen competencies in community health management, maternal–child health, and effective healthcare communication. Participants will gain a strong foundation in children’s nutrition, including balanced diet principles, growth monitoring, and strategies to prevent malnutrition through community and school-based interventions. The program also builds essential doctor–patient communication skills, emphasizing therapeutic interaction, ethical standards, empathy, and conflict resolution through real-world simulations. In addition, learners are equipped with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) knowledge aligned with international protocols, covering disease transmission, PPE use, sterilization, and outbreak case studies. Emergency maternity care modules prepare participants to identify pregnancy danger signs, manage maternal emergencies, and coordinate effective referral pathways, while postnatal support training addresses nutritional needs, lactation counseling, mental health, physical recovery, and family/community involvement. Overall, this program empowers health practitioners and community workers to deliver high-impact health services and promote well-being at the individual, family, and population level.
